Concerned Veterans for America
Concerned Veterans for America (CVA) is a nationwide organization of veterans from World War II to the Global War on Terror, veterans of all branches of the military, and military family members who serve alongside their veterans. Their aim is to build engaged communities, inspire action, amplify concerned voices, and help improve lives by empowering Americans to tackle our nation’s most pressing issues by elevating veterans’ unique perspectives and trusted leadership. Founded in 2012, CVA’s visual identity was cold, outdated, and did not contribute to the rich brand narrative CVA hoped to tell. In conjunction with their brand and marketing teams, I developed multiple concepts for the visual identity and wrote a brand narrative before ultimately arriving at this more mature, refreshed version of their existing visual identity.
