In 2021 Stand Together launched a newsletter as a thank-you to its top donors. What began as a 12 page broadsheet-style newsletter evolved to an 80 page magazine designed to showcase the impact of partner giving. Ultimately I worked on four issues of Stand Together Report, collaborating with writers, editors, photographers, and our print vendors to arrive at the final product. The project was plagued by constant revisions and endless reviews. Additional stakeholders kept being added to the project, resulting in cost and time overruns. I learned a lot about magazine design and layout, the publication and editorial process, and how to deal with complex reviews and difficult stakeholders.
